The FICAN East Clinical Working Group works to advance the development of the clinical subsections described in the national and regional strategy.

The aim of the Clinical Working Group is to further the flow of information, form an overall picture of cancer treatment, as well as align and develop operations in the area of FICAN East.

Okko-Sakari Kääriäinen (PSHVA), specialist in cancer, acts as the chair of the working group, while Jenni Nyrkkö, the development coordinator of FICAN East, acts as the secretary.
