International collaboration

International cooperation is a key component of FICAN’s expert work and activities. FICAN participates in European networks as well as research and development projects and engages in active collaboration with cancer centers and networks from other countries.

FICAN is actively involved in EU-funded research and development projects, where cancer diagnostics, treatment, and patient support services are being developed, and the objectives of the EU Cancer Plan (European Beating Cancer Plan, EBCP) are being implemented.
