Finnish Cancer Center

National projects & programs

The goal of the Finnish Cancer Center is to ensure high-quality and equitable care for Finnish cancer patients by promoting the national implementation of evidence-based and cost-effective models and practices.

Development efforts are primarily carried out through national working groups focusing on different areas and projects, where work is conducted in close collaboration with both national and international experts and stakeholders.

The coordinating unit of the Finnish Cancer Center oversees the implementation of joint national projects, with the responsibility for leading specific projects being agreed upon separately with the regional cancer centers.
