We collaborate with other regional cancer centers and the coordinating unit responsible for national activities
FICAN South promotes the aims of the Finnish Cancer Center FICAN in cooperation with other regional cancer centers: FICAN East, FICAN Mid, FICAN North, and FICAN West, as well as with the unit coordinating national activities.
We also work together with several organizations that develop cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and promote cancer research for the benefit of patients. These organizations include Cancer Society of Finland and their regional cancer associations and national patient organizations. Decision-makers, authorities, research institutions, biobank activities, digital services, companies providing cancer treatments and diagnostics, and foundations supporting cancer research are also involved in the collaboration.
