Would you like to take part in promoting the implementation of the EU Cancer Mission and contribute to the development of national structures for the utilization of cancer data in research and treatment?
The Finnish Cancer Centre FICAN is looking for a senior planning officer for a fixed-term, two-year part-time (50%) position to coordinate the Finnish Cancer Centre FICAN’s responsibilities in the EU-funded CANDLE (National CAncer data Node DeveLopErs) project associated with the Cancer Mission.
CANDLE is a three-year project that started in summer 2025 to support the development of National Cancer Data Nodes (NCDNs) in the EU Member States. You can find out more about the project here: CANDLE Project.
Tasks of the Senior planning officer include coordinating and promoting FICAN’s areas of responsibility in the CANDLE project, promoting and supporting national and international cooperation in the utilization of cancer data, as well as collecting, analyzing and summarizing data for the project.
